History of our oil mill

El Agro was created in 1958 by 100 partners, all of them farmers of our town; Setenil de las Bodegas (Cadiz). The main goal was to have a Cooperative Society that gave weight to the interests of these farmers so they could achieve higher competency in the market so they would get better profitability for their olive harvests and the virgin olive oil they extracted with such dedication.
Right now El Agro counts on more than 1200 partners, all of them make up to 2800 hectares for harvesting olives (about 20% of our partners come from Ronda). 
Since our very beginning our most important objective has been making high quality oils, thats why we make use of the most advance machinery on the market, for olive reception, elaboration and storage.
We also have our own Integrated Production Association (I.P.A El Agro), where we work every day providing guidance to our farmers so we all can get feedstock of the best quality.

    Oil mill

    The elaboration of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil AGROSETENIL is achieved using a 2-phase continous system, extracting in cold, where the olive is grinded every day and without any aditives. Thats why the oil we produce is pure olive juice, from a variety of olive trees like Lechín, Hojiblanco, Picual, Arbequino y Manzanillo, that abound in our area.

       Packer

    In El Agro, we package and sell oil under our own brand AGROSETENIL, in a wide range of formats.
    Our oils are defined by most of the positive attributes; scent and flavour, fruity and fresh, balanced taste, obtaining an organoleptic composition that is a must for any high quality oil. Thanks to this we have been awarded by the Cadiz Council multiple times for the best oils in our province.

    Store

    In our store section we offer a trusty customer service to every customer that comes to our facilities.
    We also ship our products to anywhere in Spain. For those that love nature and the beauty of extraordinary parades you are welcome to come and visit our town Setenil De Las Bodegas, where our oil mills are located, being the perfect opportunity for enjoying the amazing quality of our oils and the charm of one of the most beautiful towns in Spain.

    During production season we also offer Extra Virgin Olive Oil without filtering and Arbequino monovarietal.
